Qualifications:

• Current CRNA registration
• Current CPR-HCP

Role:

Consistent with the principles of primary health care, provides access to first level basic health care within the scope of nursing practice for individuals, families, groups and communities. As a member of an interdisciplinary family practice team, the RN provides comprehensive healthcare with emphasis on healthy living, illness prevention (primary and secondary), health education, chronic disease management, clinical assessment, intervention, and links clients with resources.

Tasks (included but not limited to):

• INR Management
• Wart Treatment
• Ear Lavage
• ECG
• Cervical Cancer Screening (Paps)-requires additional certification
• Suture/Staple Removal
• Dressings
• Patient Education/Chronic Disease Management
• Patient Assessment/triage
• Arrange Screening (Cancer, Hypertension, Diabetes, etc.)
• Injections
• Assist with CPR/Defibrillation if required
