Nurse Practitioner - The Vauxhall Clinic

Job Description

Work independently with your own panel of patients of all ages, within a primary health care team, at our Vauxhall location. This role is perfect for someone looking to work to their full scope of practice in a team-based environment. The Nurse Practitioner will act as the patient’s responsible provider working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team – including MDs, nursing, social work, mental health – to provide patient and family centered care in a rural community. The Taber Clinic is known providing comprehensive primary care for patients with complex needs. This could be any combination of chronic illnesses, mental health difficulties and addiction along with social or economic factors that negatively impact health. The Taber Clinic’s Vauxhall location is open 5 days per week within the hours of 9:00am – 4:00pm.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program/master’s degree.
• Registration with CRNA on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure.
• Applies principles of primary health care in providing health services.
• Practices autonomously and collaboratively.
• Promotes and supports health enhancing behaviors.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and team-work skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and computer literacy.
• Experience providing care to all ages, including pediatrics.

Salary Range: $65-$72/HR
